Behavioral Health Students,

We have come to the end of the Fall 2012 semester.  As exciting as it is to start new classes next semester it is unfortunate to have to part ways with current professors and fellow students.  Luckily, there is a good chance you will see those students again in future classes or encounter them in the field.
Doctor Larry Thopson one of the undergraduate professors is proud to announce the undergraduate major now has 33 students who wish to graduate with this valuable behavioral health degree.  You can find more information on this program in previous posts and on the USF website.
Unfortunately our organization has been idle and absent of activities for the past month.  There have been a number of activities a part of the USF community including charity concerts, walks, runs, christmas parties, trips to behavioral health agencies, an offshore fishing trip, et cetera.  One way to know about these types of activities is join additional student organizations related to your interests and watch for upcoming events that interest you.  It is in your best interest to find something healthy and safe to keep you sane in your down time.
One of my life goals is to build relationships with intelligent, respectable people and I want to surround myself with these types of people.  I have met many of you from classes or fellow graduate student officers have introduced me to you.  Everyone I have met who is a part of this organization is someone I would like to be surrounded by.  Many of us have real world experience so applicable to our field.  So many of us are highly motivated individuals.  We are the leaders in our field with the most up to date and useful knowledge available.  I am very proud to represent the behavioral health students of the USF Tampa campus and I look forward to getting to know each of you better.

Awareness. Compassion. Solidarity.
